Yoga Nidra: The Art of Deep Relaxation

Dive deeply into the heart of yoga in this special Yoga Nidra workshop with sleep, dream & relaxation specialist, Dr. Nick Atlas. Yoga Nidra, or “dynamic sleep,” is a unique approach to deep relaxation, meditation and transformative dreamwork that can be practiced with little or no yogic experience, yet it encompasses the full breadth of yoga psychology and meditative insight. This workshop will feature gentle movement, breathwork, and an opportunity to receive the immensely restorative, guided relaxation of Yoga Nidra, as well as discussion on how Yoga Nidra works and relates to your waking and dream life, including healing insomnia, overcoming nightmares, dealing with chronic pain and alleviating anxiety. Feel free to bring questions and an emotionally-impactful dream or life experience you may wish to work with, and please eat lightly beforehand. This program is open to all levels. Instructors are encouraged to attend and are eligible to receive 3 Yoga Alliance CE hours.
