Path to Freedom: A Yoga Nidra, Deep Relaxation & Dreamwork Retreat
APRIL 27-29, 2018

Join Dr. Nick Atlas, a pioneering lucid dream researcher, Nidra (‘sleep’) yogi and deep relaxation specialist, for this intimate retreat in the lush, Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Enjoy a weekend of locally-sourced, organic food, fresh, mountain air, gentle breezes and vibrant community as we journey together into the heart, inspire creativity and reawaken childlike wonder.
The Path to Freedom retreat offers a unique opportunity to step outside of the daily grind and return to nature, tap into the wisdom of your body, harness your intuition, connect with like-minded travelers and explore the depths of your innate healing potential. Open to participants of all levels, our sessions together will feature gentle movement (yoga, qigong, etc.), soothing breath work (incl. laughter yoga!), meditation in nature, and several opportunities to receive the immensely restorative, deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra. Along with inspiring discussion, Q&A, ample time for yourself and a special emphasis on working with dreams (both lucid and non-lucid), the weekend promises to help you release stress, recharge your battery, expand your imagination and nourish your spirit.
You also have the option to add an extra night on Thursday, with additional programming offered that evening. Want to extend your retreat and make it a long weekend? This extra night will give us a chance to drop-in more deeply and steep in the healing energy of the mountains and each other that much longer. Dinner on Thursday, and breakfast and lunch on Friday are included when you select this add-on, which will appear just below your room selection on the Registration page. You can even add-on a massage!
What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra, or “dynamic sleep,” is a unique approach to deep relaxation and meditation that can be practiced with little or no yogic experience, yet it encompasses the entire breadth of yoga psychology and meditative insight. Yoga Nidra helps foster a sense of wholeness and wellbeing in every moment by inviting practitioners to embody, accept and transform the conditions that lay at the roots of suffering. As such, Yoga Nidra can become the foundation through which we engage with the world and embark on our path of healing and self-discovery.
